Dingus Ride


Description: Come join us for an awesome 3 day, 2 night adventure thru the scenic back roads and mountains of beautiful West Virginia. Day one will consist of 225 miles to get to the region with a lunch stop planned at the Armory Smokehouse, located in Ironton, OH. Day two will bring a bit of an iron butt day running 270 miles on some of West Virginia’s most wonderful curvy backroads with surprises in store before landing back at the hotel. Day three will run about 250 miles in continuation of curves and sweeps thru West Virginia and Kentucky before stopping for lunch at a chapter favorite, the Scioto Ribber located in Portsmouth, OH. Wrapping up day three after lunch, we’ll twist up the roads heading up St. Rt. 73 towards home.

ATTENTION: There will be tight mountain roads and some switchbacks.  It will be exciting!!


HOTEL INFORMATION: 

We have a block of 35 rooms under “Powder Keg HOG”.  Cut off date to get your room reserved is May 31st. At that time, the balance of the rooms will be cancelled and offered to other guests. So, get your rooms while you can. The next closest hotel is on the other side of Logan.

Room rates: $124 per night plus taxes.

 

Road Conditions:  Curvy West Virginia back roads. Might be a few typical surprises, critters, road breaks, potholes, along the way. More information to come once this ride has been pre-ridden.

Break Stops: between 35-50+/- miles
