Ride:  Coal Mine Ride


Description:  This is a 3-day ride that will be a destination ride along with spirited riding through the Kentucky and Virginia backroads.  The destination part of the ride will take us to the Portal 31 Coal Mine in Lynch Kentucky.  The mine has a tour that takes you through the mine riding the rail of the old coal mine carts.  This is a guided tour with a cost of roughly $25 per person.

  
The riding aspect will be as stated above a spirited ride through the backroads of Kentucky and Virginia hitting some known motorcycle routs such as the Trail of the Lonesome Pine along with other very twisty roads in the area.  Friday will be spent getting us down to the area.  Saturday will be a combination of doing the Mine tour and riding in the area, with Sunday bringing us back to the Keg.

Closed Event: Chapter activities are conducted primarily for the benefit of H.O.G. Chapter members. Closed Events are those events open to Chapter members and one guest per member.  All guests must sign an event release. Be aware, all rides and events are subject to change or cancellation due to weather or other circumstances beyond our control.
