Athens Ride

Come out and join us for an overnight to Athens Ohio, this is NOT your typical ride in this region, we will NOT be in the Hocking Hills area or the 555. Though they are amazing roads, my goal was to try to find roads that we have not been on. 

We will start the day taking Rt. 350 working our way thourgh Hillsboro take Rt 177 into Pike State Forest. We will be having lunch at Rooster's in Waverly, then on to Athens finding as many curvey roads as possible. Total miles on Saturday 221

We have 28 rooms blocked off at for Saturday 13th, Holiday Inn Express 11 East Park Drive Athens, Ohio 45701 they will hold the rooms until June 13th after that they will be released Please call 740-592-4640 to book your rooom $129.00 plus tax let them know you are with Powder Keg Hog Chapter. Cancellation 24 hours prior to arrival.

Sunday morning kick stands up at 8:00 am. We will follow the Ohio River for a while then pick up Rt 7 stop and have lunch in Piketon TBA. After lunch we ride Rt 124 into Hillsboro to say our goodbyes. Total miles on Sunday 230

Road Conditions: Good, some curvy and highway

Cost: Hotel and Meals

Lunch Stops: Rooster's and TBA

Dinner Saturaday: Applebee" Grill and Bar next to the Hotel

Break Stops: Every 39 - 50 Miles

Staging: 7:30 NEW LOCATION!!!! BP Gas Station, 777 Mason Morrow Millgrove Rd, South Lebanon, OH 45036

Kickstands Up: 8:00 am

Return Time: Sunday 5:30
